Field Of Light: Avenue Of Honour Up In Lights At The 2019 National Parks & Leisure Awards
FORM is delighted to announce that our project Field of Light: Avenue of Honour, an installation by artist Bruce Munro has won top place in the National Parks & Leisure Australia 2019 Awards of Excellence, for Community Based Initiative of the Year.
Field of Light: Avenue of Honour was a unique project: a perfect confluence of time, place and culture, a multi-partnership undertaking commissioned and managed by FORM.
We’d like to thank Parks and Leisure Australia for the award and recognition, the artist Bruce Munro and his studio team, the City of Albany, as well as the State Government who supported the initiative through Tourism WA and Lotterywest, and the Federal Government through the Building Better Regions Fund.
But most of all, a huge thank you to the community of Albany who welcomed us from the very beginning, the 70+ tireless project volunteers, as well as the 187,000+ visitors who experienced Field of Light: Avenue of Honour.
